This west coast aluminum extrusion company wanted an extrusion lubricant that would not smoke, yet still provide excellent release during the extrusion process.
Summary
Acheson® Dag® 137 Graphite Lubricating Coating was tested and performed well in the extrusion process with no smoke. Since Acheson® Dag® 137 is a water based product which contains no oil it eliminated the customer’s problem with smoke.
