Area Sales Executive (southern California territory)
Chem Arrow Corporation is seeking a qualified professional to manage a metalworking sales territory to ensure regular growth of our product line which includes coolants, stamping and drawing lubricants, rust preventives, cleaners, forging compounds and lubricating oils in the southern California region. The successful candidate will call on and sell to both large and small metalworking accounts, service these accounts as needed, and manage expenses and time to optimize profitability.
We are looking for a proactive and highly self-motivated sales professional to become an integral member of our team. A high level of communication, lateral thought and professionalism is required, as well as a proven track record of reaching targets and successfully building strong working relationships with senior level professionals. Candidates will need the ability to adopt a consulting style approach.
The following characteristics are essential to this position:
- Proven track record of meeting & exceeding sales targets
- Ability to successfully build strong working relationships with senior level professionals
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent mechanical skills
- A science or engineering background is a plus
- Knowledge of metalworking operations and problems
- A working knowledge of solving "normal" metalworking problems
- Good computer skills
- A well developed sense of urgency
