Customer wanted a product that could bend muffler material without tearing the metal.
Summary
Chem Arrow's technical department reformulated an existing product to meet this customer's needs. ArrowBend 46-M was developed with superior extreme pressure additives which reduced heat buildup in the mandrel. This prevented the lubricant from drying out and the metal from tearing. The customer was able to significantly reduce their overall operating costs by decreasing downtime and parts that were off spec.
